TINY CHAMPIONS
Our Tiny Champions class is a fun and immersive introduction to our Jiu Jitsu methodology, focusing on stimulating the minds of our tiny champions with fun activities and teamwork. Our professors focus on forming positive early learning active skills that will stay with the kids throughout their Jiu Jitsu journey and their entire lives.
In this class our tiny champions learn how to improve skills such as coordination, balance, fine motor skills, flexibility, confidence, awareness of their own movement, and awareness of their peers around them all in a fun and supportive environment. Our Tiny Champions class is a taste of all the skills our kids will require to begin their Jiu Jitsu journey and also initiate good habits for life!
Everyday Classes/ Games
Alongside our Bullyproof Program, one of the most essential parts of the Tiny Champions class is our inclusive and immersive variety of games! All our games promote motor skills, teamwork, discipline, and an understanding of how to interact with others individually as well as in a group. In these games our kids learn how to make friends, deal with others, help each other, and communicate.
Our Bullyproof Program
In this class our tiny champions are guided through an introductory version of our Bullyproof Program, learning key negotiation and communication techniques as a first and foremost step to managing bullying situations. We prioritise contacting a responsible adult such as a parent or guardian as a fundamental step in bullying situations.
Our kids will not learn offensive techniques at this stage and all taught positions will focus on self-defence skills that prioritise avoiding and escaping from negative situations in order to keep our kids safe. This class also teaches injury prevention to our kids in a fun and understandable way, so they have a natural grasp of how to stay safe in training or on the playground.
A very important part of our Tiny Champions Bullyproof Program is teaching our kids to never respond aggressively to the bully. We teach our tiny champions to always act calmly and surely to negotiate with the bully at all times while staying safe, and to immediately make parents and teachers aware of the bullying. We teach our tiny champions that once they hurt the bully they become the bully and will be in trouble with their teachers and guardians, and we provide them with key skills to ensure they remain safe without acting aggressively. Positive communication and understanding are both key attributes of our Tiny Champions class.
